What is the meaning of host and wine? Why is it eaten and drunk? Are these really the body and blood of Christ?
Is that really is the body and blood of Christ, it would have a negative implication. Christ said in the book of Matthew 15:17 ---
"Do not ye yet understand, that whatsoever entereth in at the mouth goeth into the belly, and is cast out into draught?"
Christ said that whatever enters the mouth goes straight to the stomach, eventually passing the anus, right? That is a natural process. If that host is the body of Christ, where will it end up? Deductively, the supposed body of Christ will pass through our assholes!Worse, if you are in a remote place, as in a farm, with no restrooms, your shit will wind up being eaten by a dog or something like that. Imagine what they have done to Christ if you take it literally!
That, of course, should not be taken literally! That is something symbolic. Catholic priests just do not understand it.
